The difference between temperature forcasts depends on the society's and the economies we create within the next 30 years. Within the lifetime of one generation, our children will experience sea level rises by either 50 centimeters or as low as 20 centimeters above current sea levels, reflecting a temperature rise of 2.3 degrees or 1.2 degrees respectively.
