Contributions to the session on how anthropogenic climate change affects modes of variability in the climate system, in the past, present, and future are welcome. Phenomena under consideration could be, but are not limited to, the North Atlantic Oscillation, El Nino-Southern Oscillation, or the ocean's Meridional Overturning Circulation. Both observational and modelling studies are welcome.
