date: Wed, 18 Oct 2000 13:01:04 -0400 from: "Raymond S. Bradley" subject: synthesis chapter to: jcole@geo.Arizona.EDU, k.briffa@uea.ac.uk, mhughes@ltrr.arizona.edu I have had another go at re-working the first part of this chapter--see attached & ignore earlier version sent. Now it starts with the "large-scale" reconstructions --Mann et al, then Briffa et al 2000, noting their differences. It then examines briefly other reconstructions and discusses possible reasons why they aren't identical. I include explicit discussion of the MWE & LIA, then end by examining the 20th century in light of these data. Regional studies then follow. see what you think. Comments welcome....
