    Thought it worth reiterating your point that the changes
    needed were NOT serious. This should have been done by
    the editor !
    GRL reference format has changed !  Probably JGR has changed also.

       The authors responses are fine and the manuscript should be published. I have one
     major and one very minor comment at this time.
       The major one is that neither reviewer raised serious concerns. This manuscript should
     NOT have been sent back to both sets of reviewers.
        The minor one is to inform the authors of the change in GRL reference format. Years
     now go in round brackets after the authors rather than at the end.
