I would suggest Roger Harrabin might be a better (alternate?) invitee to Alex Kirby. Simon Torok has recently had contact with him about media coverage of Jo'berg and he is also on the Advisory Board of Tyndall. 2. Media strategy. We need to figure out how we want the event covered. I suggest Zoe Dunford and Simon Torok be asked to put some ideas together on how we want to tackle this. 3. John tells me we may well still be some invitations light if we are to achieve our target of 100 (I think anything less than 100 would be a shame given the quality of the input being offered). Four extra names worth inviting are: Camilla Toulmin from IIED - drylands and livelihoods Bert Metz from IPCC WGIII - policy Andy Haines from LSHTM - health issues Paval Kabat from Wageningen University - big on water and climate 4. Action Groups. Some suggestions for leaders/rapporteurs would be: Kate Brown (DEV) or Andrew Bennet (DFID) on sustainable livelihoods Kerry Turner or Paval Kabat (Wageningen) on water Andy Haines on health Bolin and Kjellen on climate change WCMC person or Peres on biodiversity Tim O'Riordan on policies, etc. 5. Posters etc. We should make sure ENV and UEA work is well show-cased through posters etc. Who will be co-ordinating these and where can they be placed? Tyndall has a stand for example. Mike
