This work will be published probably in January 2000 and could generate some interest, especially if we have had some intense winter precip. I know Cathy Johnson from DETR also thought this an interesting piece of work (see email below), possible another CC indicator. If you think it a good idea, could we liaise with DETR over timing and content? The precise publication date depends on the journal, but I can find this out.
