Dear Neil,

in principle we are interested in participating in the meeting and such an
activity.
We even could try to find additional funds via bilateral exchange projects from
our national government.
However, the date
falls within our main holiday season - and with such a short notice it is
impossible to send you a competent person to represent our institute. I would
appreciate if we could agree on another date.
