   Thanks Graham.
   Dave King is coming to the Tyndall Assembly in September, so we will try and plant some
   ideas with him about this ... but MRC of course retain their proud independence.
   The multi-disciplinary money I noticed in the statement and also in the 10-year science
   strategy document (in fact Tyndall Centre is named - see p.31 - as one of the exemplars!),
   so I hope UEA is onto this one, since we are ahead of the game as far as multi-disciplinary
   training and research are concerned.

     I guess there is nothing to prevent several of us entering our thoughts
     into the NERC process.
     We will again be making the point when we shortly meet the NERC, ESRC and
     EPSRC chief executives that we believe MRC should be entering the Tyndall
     funding consortium to address some of these (climate change related) issues
     in a more joined up way.
