He has oversight of all the UK national R.Councils (i.e., manages the governments £1.3 billion annual science budget), thus it is an opportunity to impress. As part of the programme, I would like to expose him to short snapshots of science that is being/will be conducted under Tyndall umbrella. Would you be free and willing on this day to give a very short (7 minute + 3 minute discussion) presentation on your work? The timing and succinctness of this are critical, and so if you agree I would propose a rehearsal a day or two beforehand. Tim: is rainfall in UK getting heavier?
